Description
Soil subsidence if scenario continues, presumably before 2020. Data from the study Exploration of Soil Decline NW Overijssel that Infram carried out for us and the Drents Overijsselse Delta water board in the period 2017 – 2019. In the peat meadow area of Overijssel, the soil is falling. This subsidence is mainly due to peat oxidation, which has various significant effects on (the use of) the area.
