Experimental land use at the Cayenne test site (10/2014)
Description
As part of the SEAS Phase II call for projects, AUDEG, DEAL, DAAF joined forces with the NFB and PAG to provide technical expertise to:
— improve the classifications of these two producers of land cover layers in their respective themes (i.e. urbanised areas, natural areas and agricultural areas),
— produce a common nomenclature.
The main objective of the project was to assess the feasibility of setting up a treatment chain involving various partners, each involved in its thematic field.
The dataset presents the fruit of AUDEG’s work on a test area of about 900 hectares. The source image used is a Pleiade image from 8/10/2014.
