Environmental Ordinance- Ancient forest growth sites
Description
The old forest growth sites are derived from the first cadastral registration (HisGIS Percelen land use 1811-1832). Plots that were then designated as forest and still are, are particularly valuable because soil (life) and vegetation have had sufficient time to match each other. This is, among other things, conducive to the resilience of the forest ecosystem to pests and other invasive events. This file was adopted on 15 November 2023 by the Provincial States and entered into force on 1 January 2024 under the Environmental Law.
