REDIAM. WMS HIC 2130 Fixed coastal dunes with herbaceous vegetation (grey dunes)
Description
WMS service corresponding to Habitat of Community Interest priority 2130 consisting of habitat that constitutes the third band of the dune gradient (grey dunes) of the Atlantic coasts that is located behind the mobile dunes with Ammophila arenaria. In them the wind intensity decreases and allows the stabilization of the substrate and the accumulation of organic matter which favors the acquisition of darker, grayish tones. However, these incipient soils are very poor and the influence of the wind is important, so its action and its contribution of saline aerosols, prevents the evolution towards a more mature vegetation. It does not have temporary waterlogging or moist soils. Node of the Andalusian Environmental Information Network. Regional Government of Andalusia.
