REDIAM. WMS HIC 5330-4 Classrooms and other Mediterranean thermo-xerophilous permanent scrub
Description
WMS service corresponding to Habitat of Non-Priority Community Interest 5330-4. It corresponds to permanent scrub formations, with a high degree of endemicity, usually dominated by genisteas (aulagares) and located in xeric and thermophilic environments. They include, mainly, formations of the Alliance Genisto spartioidis-Phlomidion almerienses (Pistacio-Rhamnetalia), although also is within this group the bojedas of Baleárica Buxus or the formations of Genista polyanthos, regardless of their syntaxonomic framing. These communities are not part of serial successional dynamics, but constitute permanent vegetation under special ecological conditions, such as special thermal and xeric environments, or relict plant formations.
