Digital terrain model Grid width 10 m
Description
For the uniform description of the relief of the territory of the Federal Republic of Germany, the following digital terrain models (DGMs) of different quality levels will be built up by the German Land Survey as part of the ATKIS project:
Digital terrain model 5 — DGM5
Digital terrain model 25 — DGM25
Digital terrain model 50 — DGM50
Digital terrain model 200 — DGM200
Digital terrain model 1000 — DGM1000
The DGM10 describes the terrain shapes of the earth’s surface by a number of points arranged in a regular grid, georeferenced in position and height. The grid width is 10 m x 10 m.
