Karst areas (plant protection)
Description
These are the karst areas under the authorisation of 1.1.1999 for plant protection products containing s-triazine pursuant to the Plant Protection Products Ordinance. In these areas, triacetic herbicides may no longer be applied. The areas do not correspond to karst areas by purely geological definition. Criteria for the elimination of the areas include: Karstable rock (upstream and partly covered), karst water connections from the groundwater map, catchment areas of tributaries and slopes that drain into karstable rock.
