Anyone who wants to enter or out of the city centre is still dependent on bridges. As everyday self-evident, this peculiarity of our city is hardly perceived. Braunschweig’s bridges take on this special feature. With text and illustrations for 22 locations, the portal not only presents the bridges that exist today, but also offers materials for numerous previous buildings. For each bridge location, there is a timeline with historical information for a journey into the past. Regularly there is the possibility to call up in-depth material in addition.
