CARM Network Capacity Stations
Description
This layer contains the capacity stations of the CARM-owned road network that record traffic. There are a total of 240 of which 12 are permanent (it accommodates 24 hours every day of the year), 37 are primary (42 or 49 days: one week in alternate months, including in any case the month of August), 137 are secondary (12 days: 2 working days in alternate months) and 54 are coverage (2 working days per year). As a summary of the capacity work, the annual Capacity Report is published on the website of the DG for Roads, where the latest published report is presented differentiated from previous years (https://www.carm.es/web/page?IDCONTENT=46490&IDTIPO=100&RASTRO=c291$m) and, the rest of the years are included in the Historical Capacity section (http://www.carm.es/web/page?IDCONTENT=578&IDTIPO=100&RASTRO=c399$m). In this layer of geographic information the following data is collected: number or code of the seating station, municipality where it is located, road measured, kilometre point on which it is located, type of station, length of the seating section, total IMD, IMD light vehicles and IMD heavy-duty vehicles. This information is part of a series of data that integrates information related to transport networks and is completed with the following Spatial Data Sets: layer of road lines owned by CARM, layer of KP points, layer of road lines owned by the Ministry of Public Works, layer of lines of CARM road links, layer of polygons of CARM conservation sectors, layer of polygons of CARM exploitation areas and graduated sections of the carm network.
