CRED REA Coral Population Paramaters at Kauai, Main Hawaiian Islands, 2006
Description
Belt transects along 2 consecutively-placed, 25m transect lines were surveyed as part of Rapid Ecological Assessments conducted a 4 sites at Kauai Island in the Main Hawaiian Islands in July/August, 2006 from the NOAA vessel Hi'ialakai (HII06-10). Raw survey data included species presence and relative abundance, colony counts and size classes, and visual estimation of percent cover. Half a meter was included in the belt on each side of the transect lines, for a total of 50m2 per site).
