LIST OF SUBTERAN WATER BODIES IN THE DISTRICT OF THE DUNA PRUT AND BLACK SEA BASIN
Description
The identification, delimitation and classification of groundwater bodies was based on the processing of data of geological and hydrogeological reports stored in the State Subsoil Information Fund of the Agency for Geology and Mineral Resources, resulting from hydrogeological and geological-engineering surveys carried out on the territory of the Republic of Moldova, with the purpose of identifying groundwater deposits and assessing the qualitative and quantitative status of groundwater reserves, as well as data records of artesian exploration-exploitation wells. The water bodies were delimited depending on the age of the aquifer rocks and the lithological composition of the aquifer complex.
