Coral Monitoring Baseline Data (CMBP) 2016

Description

This data asset contains biological information from important reefs situated in the targeted seascapes of the Caribbean Marine Biodiversity Program (CMBP). The biological data covers: a. Raw benthic data and processed index data b. Raw motile fish data (biomass, size and fish family composition) and processed index data c. Environmental data – relief d. Motile invertebrates data The data was collected by certified dive teams across the region using AGRRA protocol 5.0. Protocol can be accessed here. Survey templates are available under "References," in the metadata section of this page. Targeted seascapes and corresponding countries include: 1) Bluefield's Bay - Jamaica 2) The Grenada Bank - Transboundary islands of Grenada and St. Vincent and the Grenadines 3) Samaná Bay - Dominican Republic 4) Protected Area of Three Bays - Haiti
