Municipalities of Tuscany with associated statistical function by statute on 01/01/2024
Description
The dataset provides for all the municipalities of Tuscany existing on 01/01/2024 the participation in the Union of Municipalities and if the management of the statistical function is done in associated form by statute.
The associated functions of municipalities are encouraged with regard to:
1. the fundamental functions carried out by the Unions (functions provided for in Article 14(27)(a) with transfers of State resources to the Region in support of the municipal associations of Legislative Decree No 78/2010 [https://www.normattiva.it/uri-res/N2Ls?urn:nir:state:decree.law:2010-05-31;78], converted into law by Law No 122/2010 ‘Conversion into law, with amendments, of Decree-Law No 78 of 31 May 2010 laying down urgent measures in the field of financial stabilisation and economic competitiveness’)
2. the functions provided for in Article 90(1)(b) of Regional Law No 68 of 27 December 2011 [http://raccoltanormativa.consiglio.regione.toscana.it/articolo?urndoc=urn:nir:regione.toscana:legge:2011-12-27;68&pr=idx,0;artic,1;articpartiziale,0] ‘Rules on the system of local self-government’ with regional resources allocated to the Unions of Municipalities.
Among the key associated functions encouraged under Article 14 are statistical services.
