Nearshore and Bays Management Project manages the commercial herring fishery in CA. Data used in this management includes age, maturity, and weight data. Monitoring data collected for Pacific herring management include: Commercial and Research SF herring data, herring landing receipts, Research catch, commercial samples, Eggs Produced at Age, SF Bay Herring Historical, SF Bay Herring Season Information. This data and metadata were submitted by California Department of Fish and Wildlife (CDFW) Staff though the Data Management Plan (DMP) framework with the id: DMP000057.
