The numbers of legal persons are defined in Luxembourg by the following legal texts:
— Grand-Ducal Regulation of 16 March 1994 amending the Grand-Ducal Regulation of 21 December 1987 laying down detailed rules for the application of the Law of 30 March 1979 organising the digital identification of natural and legal persons
— Ministerial Decree of 30 March 2022 laying down the criteria for identification numbers to be assigned to limited liability companies
The Grand Ducal Regulation of 16 March 1994 refers to a list of two-digit codes to identify the legal form. This dataset specifies the codes used to identify the legal form.
