Ticino Park: Ecological Network
Description
The building blocks of the network shall be represented: main matrix of the Ticino river, areas of significant naturality (“core areas”), significant infrastructural barriers, strips to consolidate or promote main and secondary ecological corridors, river corridors, agricultural areas, urbanised areas or subject to particular anthropogenic pressure, critical points of conflict and ecological permeability gates.
