SIM - Sites of Metropolitan Interest
Description
The data maps the areas proposed as Sites of Metropolitan Interest (SIM) by the PTGM (General Metropolitan Territorial Plan) as areas characterized by the presence of valuable habitats and species that, although not present in the lists of European directives, are significant at regional level.This includes the Sites of Regional Interest no longer reconfirmed by the Piedmont Region but already contained in the PTC2 of the Province of Turin and recognized by the former Regional Law 47/1995 and other areas, always derived from the revision and modification of the SIR.- The associated WMS (Web Map Service) reproduces the spatially georeferenced map with technical specifications defined by the OGC (Open Gis Consortium) and can be viewed through software tools or web viewers, using the appropriate url.
