Description
The data were taken from a study promoted by the Province of Turin in the context of the "Research program on the maintenance and restoration of riverbeds, as well as on hydrogeological protection and soil protection".The dataset represents the areas flooded by the Pellice stream following the flood event of 13-16/10/2000 and reported in the "Study of hydrogeological arrangement of the Pellice stream. Update following the flood event of 13-16 October 2000" (December 2000) and is a summary update of the previous study done on the Pellice basin, as part of the "Research Program".The update includes two descriptions of the phenomena, effects and damage that occurred during the flood event.
