Description
The information contained in the subject matter of the superficial aquifer refers to the framework agreement referred to in D.G.P. No 21-75961-94 of 10/6/1994 between the Province of Turin and the University of Turin for activities; collaboration and scientific advice to support the activity; institutional of the Ecology and Environment Sector. The research was entrusted to the Department of Earth Sciences for the “identification of areas potentially suitable for the construction of waste disposal plants”. Results of the research activity: definition, for the flat sector of the Province of Turin, of the aspects related to the subjugation of the surface water table: the cards were drawn up on the 1:50.000 scale. We report some information that is believed to be useful for a correct reading and use of numerical data. 1) SUBJECT CARD The reconstruction of the underlying trend was carried out using: land measurements (approximately 130 wells) carried out in spring-summer 1996; B) previous data obtained from the archive of the Department of Earth Sciences for the last 10 years. With regard to point (b), it should be noted that for the assessment of the minimum subasidence, where there was not a series of checks prolonged over time, reference was made to the minimum point values available, even if they refer to measures made in different years and, at the same year considered, also seasonally lagged between zones". c) data of some piezometers monitoring waste disposal facilities in the plain sector of the Province of Turin (approximately 23 points) in order to obtain information on fluctuation of the aquifer. Maps relating to subagency, piezometry and vulnerability; they were delivered on a glossy support in 1:50.000 scale. The polishes were scanned and subjected to the georeferencing process in order to obtain covers of lines (piezometry paper) or polygons (subjection cards and vulnerabilities).
