CITTA METROPOLITANA MILANO - Analysis of surface water bodies

Description

From 1987 to 1999 the Province of Milan investigated 15 natural and 7 artificial water bodies such as the Lambro Settentrionale river, the Ticino river, the Olona river, the Seveso stream, the Adda river and the Naviglio Grande, for a total of 31 sampling stations. In the Data set are collected all the analytical checks carried out during the period, pursuant to the Regional Law. 32/80. In implementation of this law, a series of chemical - physical - biological parameters were detected on the main watercourses of the territory of the then province of Milan. With the enactment of Legislative Decree 152/99, both the criteria for assessing the quality of surface water bodies and the parameters and monitoring methods have been completely changed. As a result of that law, checks are carried out by ARPA.
