PUMS - Ciclovie - Metropolitan City of Florence

Description

The Urban Plan of Sustainable Mobility (PUMS) is the strategic document that aims to guide the city's mobility policies for the next 10 years.With reference to traffic and safety parameters, Law 2/2018 defines as cycle paths (Art.2) the itineraries that include one or more of the following categories: a) cycle paths or lanesb) cycle-pedestrian routes) green cycle routesd) cycle paths or nature routese) roads without traffic and low trafficf) roads 30g) pedestrian areash) restricted traffic areas) residential areasThe Metropolitan Council of Florence started the procedure for the preparation of the metropolitan SUMP and verification of the SEA with Resolution No. 121 of 19 December 2018 and with Resolution of the Metropolitan Council No. 24 of 21/04/2021 definitively approved the Pums-Urban Sustainable Mobility Plan of the Metrocity.
