PTCP 2013 - Knowledge Framework QC06 Mining areas - Metropolitan City of Florence
Description
Territorial Plan of Provincial Coordination approved with Delib. C.P. of 10/01/2013 (BURT n.11 of 13/03/2013).
The Charter represents:
- the deposits and resources, as defined on the basis of Regional Law No 78/1998 and identified by the Regional Plan of Mining Activities of the Region of Tuscany (PRAER), divided into: sector 1 – materials for industrial use, construction and civil works, as defined in Article 2(a) of Regional Law No 78/1998; sector 2 – ornamental materials, defined as such in point (b), Article 2 of Regional Law No 78/98 and ‘historical’ materials, that is to say materials of particular importance both in the placement of Tuscan stones in construction and art and for monumental restoration;
- the quarries, identified on the basis of the census carried out by the University Centre for Cultural Heritage (CABeC), and classified into: existing; decommissioned; historical.
