Land use (year 2009) - Metropolitan City of Florence
Description
Polygonal elements of the Land Use Charter of 2009 relating to the territory of the Metropolitan City of Florence. The polygons, which cover the entire provincial territory, represent the different categories of land use identified. The data was promoted by the provincial administration and created as an update of the land use map promoted by the Tuscany region and created by the LAMMA Consortium in 2007 as part of the project 'Thematic Cartography Soil Use' which provides for the creation of a database structured in land use classes extrapolated from the numerical archives of the regional technical cartography (C.T.R. scale 1:10.000). Digital images from the regional photographic archives were used for video photo interpretation.
