Tourist areas - Metropolitan City of Florence
Description
Identification of the tourist areas on which are articulated the statistical surveys of arrivals and presences of tourist movements in the accommodation facilities of the territory of the Metropolitan City of Florence.
The statistical survey of the movement of tourists in accommodation establishments is provided for by the National Statistical Programme, is governed by EU directives and Istat circulars and the data are validated on the basis of the quality checks indicated by Istat, the holder of the survey, and by the Tuscany Region.
The survey is carried out by the Business Services, Controls and Statistics Office.
The Office collects and monitors the data. Until the month of June following the reference year, the annual data are to be considered provisional.
