Description
Identification of the tourist areas on which the statistical surveys of arrivals and presences of tourist movements in accommodation facilities in the territory of the Metropolitan City of Florence are based.The statistical survey of the movement of tourists in accommodation establishments is provided for by the National Statistical Programme, is governed by EU directives and Istat circulars and the data are validated on the basis of the quality checks indicated by Istat, the holder of the survey, and the Tuscany Region.The survey is carried out by the Business Services, Controls and Statistics Office.The Office collects and checks the data. Until the month of June following the reference year, the annual data are to be considered provisional.
