Description
The California Nonpoint Source (NPS) Program allocates about $4.5 million of CWA Section 319 funding from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency annually to support implementation and planning projects addressing water quality problems in surface and ground water resulting from NPS pollution. These projects seek to restore impacted beneficial uses and aquatic ecosystems, and have been selected in a highly competitive process.
