Changes in bird assemblages along an Elevational gradient in the Eastern Alps (National Park Gesäuse) between 2006 and 2016
Description
As climate change progresses, mountain regions are particularly under pressure because they cover a high temperature gradient in a small space. This study examines the changes in the distribution of bird species along an altitude gradient in the Gesäuse National Park (Ostalpen) between 2006 and 2016. The aim is to study the change (1) the distribution of species richness, (2) the altitude niches of the species, and (3) the species composition of the avifauna along an altitude gradient.
