Vegetation Height Model (CHM) (WMS)
Description
Layers of the Canopy Height Model (CHM) from 2008 to 2021. Pixel size 4 m (from 2017) — 10 m (until 2016 year). Heights in steps of 0.5 m.
The height model of vegetation indicates the height of vegetation above the ground. The data cover the whole of Estonia.
The model is divided into elevation classes where pixels with a value of less than 1 m are transparent. The following elevations are: Pixels with a value of 1-4 m, 4-10 m, 10-20 m, 20-30 m and more than 30 metres. The calculation assumes that there are no trees more than 50 metres high in Estonia.
Data resolution of 4-10 m.
