Areas with prohibition of physical soil degradation (Legislative Regulation)
Description
This stock contains areas that prohibit physical soil degradation as laid down in the Environmental Ordinance of the Province of Groningen. In this Environmental Regulation we have included rules for this. Some drinking water extractions are less vulnerable to contaminants because there is a clay layer above the drinking water reservoir. In that case, our protection focuses on preserving that clay layer by preventing the clay layer from being pierced.Groundwater protection areas consist of three separate, loose elements: — Groundwater Protection Areas- Drinking Water Areas- Areas Prohibited Physical Bodemaantasting
