Central African Republic Artisanal Mining & Property Rights KAP Baseline Survey 2019

Description

The USAID Artisanal Mining & Property Rights (AMPR) project conducted a baseline survey of the knowledge, attitudes and practices (KAP) of artisanal miners in nine sub-prefectures in southwestern Central African Republic in May 2019. The purpose of the survey was to provide basic information to help measure the impact of the project as well as to better plan the project activities in collaboration with the Central African government. The target population of the survey was the artisanal miner site manager (chef de chantier), as these actors constitute the vital link between the laborers and the buyers, making them key actors to target in communication campaigns.
