National land cover data, additional layer of object height and object coverage
Description
NMD object height and coverage is an additional layer within National Land Cover Data. This additional layer consists of four separate raster layers in 10 m resolution:
- Object heights from 0.5 to 5 m
- Object heights 5 to 45 m
- Coverage rate of object heights between 0.5 and 5 m
- Coverage rate of object heights between 5 to 45 m
NMD consists of a base mapping in several hierarchical levels. The mapping is in raster format with 10 meters resolution and with a minimum mapping unit down to 0.01 hectares. In addition to the base mapping, the following additional layers are included:
- object height and coverage
- productivity (forest productivity)
-land use
- low mountain forest (only in 2018, then included in the base layer)
