Description
The object area DLM - Names comprises the coordinative reference points with attributes of currently more than 220 000 names of Austria:
• Settlement names (cities, markets, villages, districts and individual objects)
• Area names
• Mountain names (mountains, mountains and valleys)
• Glacier names
• Water names (rivers, streams, lakes and ponds)
• Other names (proper names of defined DLM objects)
• Riedname
This is Austria's most comprehensive geographical name database for quick location searches and statistical queries.
Reference date = creation date:
The data for this day is the most up-to-date database of the BEV.
This is not the same as the date of recording or surveying.
