Description
Wild luck maps for red deer are vector and raster data that present aggregated game accident statistics with red deer during the five-year period 2018-2022. The material comes with a.lyr file that helps in visualisation and interpretation of the material. Wild luck densities are reported in raster files with different resolution. Wild luck frequencies are reported along the main road network and in designated areas with high accident rates. Frequency is calculated as the number of wild game accidents per km and year over a five-year period. The material is based on reported game accidents to the police and hunter reports according to the National Wildlife Accident Council.
