Ecological Network Natura 2000 of the Republic of Croatia — WFS — INSPIRE Harmonised
Description
Spatial database containing data on areas of the Natura 2000 Ecological Network in Croatia. Spatial data consists of 743 polygonal areas of conservation significant for species and habitat types (POVS) and 38 polygonal areas of conservation significant for birds (POPs). The State Institute for Nature Protection has prepared a proposal for the NATURA 2000 ecological network for Croatia based on the processing of collected data on the distribution of NATURA 2000 species and habitat types in Croatia and supplemented it in 2015 based on the conclusions of the biogeographical seminar in Croatia. The Natura 2000 ecological network was formally proclaimed by the Environmental Network Regulation (NN No 124/2013) and supplemented by the Regulation amending the Regulation on the ecological network (NN105/15).
This layer contains the boundaries of Natura 2000 sites and target species and habitats for each Natura 2000 site.
