Description

In the urban area of the state capital Dresden there are a total of 58 church and cemeteries, of which four municipal cemeteries, one state cemetery and 53 denominational cemeteries. The four municipal cemeteries (Heidefriedhof, Urnenhain Tolkewitz, Dölzschen, Nordfriedhof) and the crematorium are managed by the municipal cemetery and burial department. The 53 denominational cemeteries are divided into 49 Lutheran, 2 Catholic and 2 Jewish cemeteries.
