Accident Concentration Areas 2024

Description

Accident zones (ACZs) have been identified based on the location of road accidents with injuries and/or fatalities in 2022-2023. A specifically parameterized clustering algorithm was applied to the geographical coordinates of the accidents, then a threshold of 10 accidents over a period of 2 years was chosen. The execution of this procedure led, in 2024, to the identification of 89 Accident Zones (ZACA) on regional and municipal roads.
