Gravity data from aerogravimetry
Description
The data set contains the results of the BalGRACE (2006) and NorthGRACE (2007/2008) flights carried out jointly by the Danish National Space Center (DNSC) and the BKG to measure the Earth’s gravity field in the area of the German and Danish North and Baltic Seas. The data are available by profile and contain absolute gravity values with an accuracy of approximately 2-3 mGal at precisely determined positions in geographical length and width and height in the ETRS89 system in relation to the GRS80 ellipsoid by means of differential GNSS. In addition, altitudes are provided “above sea level” (realised by a geoid model), which are consistent with normal heights in the European elevation reference system EVRS or in the official German spatial reference (DHHN2016).
