Description

This collection of historical and current **cinema locations** between 1907 and 2018 was created specifically for the [Web article “Culture and Leisure”](https://www.stadt-zuerich.ch/portal/de/index/125-jahre-grossstadt-zuerich/digitale-zeitreise/kultur-und-freizeit.html) of the series [“Digital Time Travel”](https://www.stadt-zuerich.ch/portal/de/index/125-jahre-grossstadt-zuerich/digitale-zeitreise.html). The data were compiled by the City Archives and spatially located by Statistics City of Zurich. These data may be incomplete or inaccurate, as the reconstruction was not always clear. However, this data can be supplemented well crowdsourced and continuously. Administration no longer updates this record.
