Cultural monuments and monument areas in Schleswig-Holstein (LDSH)
Description
The data set contains geodata on monuments in the factual and area-related competence of the State Office for the Preservation of Monuments Schleswig-Holstein, LDSH (cultural monuments of the type monument and foundation monument, protected zones of the type monument area, in the area of the federal state of Schleswig-Holstein with the exception of the Hanseatic city of Lübeck). Related INSPIRE Annex 1 - Topic: Protected Sites - Cultural. Cultural monuments and monument areas are protected by law according to the DSchG SH 2015, and can be included in a directory, the so-called list of monuments. The designation of monument areas is carried out by separate state ordinance. The list of monuments is not final at any time, but is constantly reviewed, supplemented and cleaned. The monument property does not depend on the entry in the monument list, or on the representation in the monument mapping (associated geodata). Objects that are not listed or depicted here can also be protected as cultural monuments by law (Ipsa Lege) if they meet the legal criteria for monument status. The representations in the monument mapping have an informative character. They are not legally binding. For up-to-date, legally binding information, please contact the LDSH. The use of the monument mapping does not replace the participation of the competent monument authorities in planning and approval procedures prescribed by DSchG SH 2015.
