Catchment areas of sensitive areas due to eutrophication
Description
The data set shows the catchment areas of sensitive areas due to eutrophication under the Decree on the emission of substances in discharges of waste water from urban waste water treatment plants (Official Gazette of the Republic of Slovenia, No 45/07). The Decree transposes into Slovenian law Council Directive 91/271/EEC of 21 May 1991 concerning urban waste water treatment, which requires the identification of sensitive areas for which specific urban waste water treatment requirements are laid down before direct or indirect discharges into water. Specific requirements apply to entire catchment area water bodies designated as sensitive by eutrophication.
