Description
RollRaus is a collection of hiking trails, but not only for people in wheelchairs, but also for families with strollers. After registering, users can edit the trails by entering prominent points, such as barriers, posts, restaurants, etc. All hiking trails can of course be commented and evaluated.
The digital terrain model shows the course of the trail. The data and routes for the hiking trails are based on the OpenStreetMap.
The current form of RollRaus is intended to show the possibilities for a platform with barrier-free hiking trails. Based on user feedback, the application will be adapted and expanded in the future.
The application “RollRaus” was created by the students Eva Mair, Gabriel Freinbichler, Julia Eder and Martina Kremsmayr as part of the course “IT-Projekt für Wirtschaftsinformatik WS 2013/14” at the Institute for Business Informatics - Software Engineering at the Johannes Kepler University Linz.
