Granted building permits of all municipalities in the Netherlands (from 01-01-2012)

Description

A record in the microfile represents a granted environmental permit with activity building, for the sake of brevity in everyday language 'Building permit' called. A permit can be issued for one or more buildings at the same time and can include both residential and non-residential buildings (commercial buildings). Statistics Netherlands (CBS) collects the data via the W011 survey form. The statistics Building permits granted provide insight into the extent of the building permits granted for dwellings and other buildings: value, number of permits and number of dwellings involved. This provides insight into the production of buildings that can be expected in the short term. The following details of the works are recorded: municipality, type of building, industry for which the building is intended, type of work (new construction or conversion), type of client, construction costs, content, surface area, construction time in workable days. In the case of new-build living spaces, it is asked whether it is a rental or own home. There may be additional responses from non-responding municipalities and additional responses from municipalities that have already responded. After 13 months, the figures become final and no additional response can be given. If municipalities have not responded by then, their imputed response will be treated as definitive.As a result, there may be decimals in the number of permits, number of homes, etc. ### Population Building permits in all municipalities in the Netherlands. The lower limit is determined by the amount of the building sum of the building permit. As of the reporting year 2002, this lower limit is 50 thousand euro (excluding Value Added Tax (VAT)).
