Description

National Cohort Research Education (NCO) The NCO microdata files were compiled by the Central Bureau of Statistics (CBS) for the National Cohort Research Education (NCO). The NCO has been initiated and is funded by the National Educational Research Agency (NRO). For these files, existing register data from the social-statistical files (SSB) of CBS and existing educational records of the Education Basic Register (BRON) of the Education Implementation Service (DUO) have been combined. This file contains the enrolment and test data of pupils in primary education The year in the file name refers to the relevant school year YYYY/YYYY+ 1. The NCOPODEF files contain final enrolment and test data, the NCOPOVRL file contains preliminary registration data and no test data. The test (and advisory) data shall cover the variables WPOADVIESVO, WPOCODEEINDTOETS, WPOUITSLAGEINDTOETS, CITOPERCENTIELTAAL, CITOPERCENTIELREKENENDE, WPOADVIESHERZ, WPOREKENEN, WPOTAALLV and WPOTAALTV; these are therefore not filled in the provisional stock. ### Population The NCOPO files contain the data of pupils who appear in at least one of the primary education (PO) backbone files. These PO backbone files can be linked to the link key (RINPERSOON and RINPERSOONS) the enrolment and test data of pupils in (special) primary education included in these NCOPO files.
