The determination of this is based first of all on the typing of the variable socio-economic category on a monthly basis (SECM). When a person as a socio-economic category & employee & if (SECM=& #039;11 ') the type of employment relationship of the last main job as an employee in the relevant reporting month is taken into account for the determination of the position in the employment field. When a person as a socio-economic category & director-major shareholder (DGA) & (SecM='12 '), & self-employed & (SecM='13 '), &other self-employed & (SecM='14 ') or &Jot; (SecM='15 ') has, then the position in the working circle is “self-employed”. For persons with a socio-economic category other than & #039;11 ', '12 ', '13 ', '14 ', & #039;15 ' who are also employed, the position in the employment circle is based on the type of employment relationship of the last main job as an employee in the relevant reporting month, or the position in the employment circle is & and #039; self-employed; if one is active as a DGA, self-employed person, other self-employed or assisting family member. ### Population The population of the bus component consists of all persons with income from employment (employed persons) in the reporting month, whether or not belonging to the population of the Netherlands (variables XKOPPELWERKNSECM=1 or XKOPPELDGASECM=1 or XKOPPELZELFSTSECM=1 or XKOPPELOVACTIVE=1 or XKOPPELMEEWERKENDSECM=1 from the SSB component SECMBUSVV).
