Employees for whom a dismissal permit has been granted by the UWV, based on Income Ratio ID according to the UWV (01-01-2011 - 01-01-2024)

Description

The file represents employees for whom a dismissal permit has been issued by the Employee Insurance Agency (UWV). In addition, information is included about the terminated job. In the Netherlands, dismissal can take place via several routes: immediate dismissal, dismissal through the subdistrict court, dismissal with mutual consent, dismissal following bankruptcy and dismissal on the basis of a dismissal permit from the UWV. The present file relates to the route via the UWV. Dismissal via the UWV can only be made from 2016 if there are business economic reasons or long-term incapacity for work. Until 2015, it could also occur that dysfunction, culpable behaviour and/or a disturbed relationship was the reason for applying for a dismissal permit at the UWV. The employer applies for a dismissal permit from the UWV. If the employer receives a dismissal permit from the UWV, the employer has a maximum of four weeks to terminate the employment contract with the employee. In doing so, the employer must take into account the correct notice period. This file contains only requested dismissal permits that were actually granted by the UWV. Dismissal permits that are still pending or which, for whatever reason, have been rejected are not included in this file. Information about the terminated job (SUWVONTIKVID and SEINDEBAAN) has been added to the file by matching the data on the discharge permit with data on terminated jobs from the SPOLISJJJJBUSVV file. However, not in all cases a terminated job is found that matches the dismissal permit. In that case, the relevant dismissal permit is included in the file, but without information about the corresponding job. The SUWVONTIKVID and SEINDEBAAN fields can therefore be used to retrieve additional information about the finished runway from the SPOLISJJJBUSVV. SUWVONTSLAGVERGUNTABVV (from 2009) follows the file UWVONTSLAGVERGUNTABVV (2008 to 2010). That there is overlap in time is explained below. These files differ in design only in the identification of the matched track. In SUWVONTSLAGVERGUNTABVV, the track identification (UWVONTIKVID) is taken from the SPOLISJJJJBUSVV (from 2010 onwards). In UWVONTSLAGVERGUNTABVV, the track identification (UWVONTBAANRUGID) is taken from the POLISJJJJBUSVV (until 2009). In which of the two components a record with data about a dismissal permit ends up is determined by the track key of the matched job. If a job with an IKV_ID (from the SPOLISJJJJBUSVV) has been matched, the record ends up in SUWVONTSLAGVERGUNTABVV. If a job has been matched with a BAANRUGID (from the POLISJJJJJBUSVV), the record ends up in the UWVONTSLAGVERGUNTABVV. This means that data on dismissal permits issued in 2009 or 2010 may end up in one of the two files depending on the track key of the matched job. Jobs are overlooked from the period [date of dismissal permit – 1 year – date of dismissal permit + 1 year]. Both UWVONTSLAGVERGUNTABVV and SUWVONTSLAGVERGUNTABVV therefore contain data on dismissal permits from 2009 and 2010. For the record: a dismissal permit does not end up in both files, so there are no duplicates. The files UWVONTSLAGVERGUNTABVV and SUWVONTSLAGVERGUNTABVV replace the files UWVONTAANVJJJTABVV and UWVONTSLAGVERGUNTABVV. More information on how to access the data: > https://www.cbs.nl/nl-nl/onze-diensten/maatwerk-en-microdata/microdata-zelf-onderzoek-doen ### Methodology The main methodology applied is a matching algorithm that is used to find the job terminated in the event of a discharge permit issued. Matching dismissal permits with terminated jobs from the SPOLISJJJJBUSVV does not produce an exact link, and the most likely terminated job is selected. Therefore, two fields (SONSELECTIVE CODE and SAANTBAAN) have been included which provide information on the quality of the match. Only the match found with the best quality is included in this file. Therefore, only one job is represented in the file per application for dismissal. The variable SAANTBAAN indicates how many jobs were found (i.e. how many finished jobs the matched job was chosen). ### Population The population covers all workers for whom a dismissal permit has been issued by the UWV.
