Description

Registered Job Seekers at UWV (GWU). This figure gives a better picture of the number of jobseekers in the labour market than the number of Non-Working Job Seekers (NWW). The figure consists of jobseekers with WW or AG benefits with employment capacity. All people with social assistance benefits are also part of GWU. This has been possible since the automatic link between Sonar and the policy administration has been realised. In addition to persons benefiting from benefits, also make persons who do not receive benefits received from UWV, but still use Werk.nl as part of the new offer. Conditions for the last group are that they have an active CV on Werk.nl. GWU has the same variables as the old NWW, such as variables such as province, labour market region, municipalities, educational level, occupational group, age class, etc. The added values of the GWU supply rate are that the figure can be differentiated by type of benefit (WW, Wajong, WIA and in the future also assistance). For the intermediate period, the recording was taken at the last observed level moment. This means, for example, that before 1 to 29 April this file represents the registration of March 31. From 30 April to 30 May the registration of 30 April will be used. If a registration does not change, the registration date will also remain unchanged. If the registration changes, the registration ends on the day before the end of the month and a new registration starts at the end of that month. Thus, it is possible to link with this file at any level and the file remains of limited size. Each year the file is rebuilt, the registration being used at the end of the previous year as registration as of 1 January. This also means that it is not possible to calculate registration hours. ### Population Persons aged 15 to 75 who are registered as a jobseeker at UWV with a WW benefit, Assistance benefit, Wajong benefit, WGA benefit, WAO benefit and services from UWV or municipalities, or have an active CV at work.nl.
