Production statistics of care practices, revision 2015 (from 01-01-2015)
Description
This dataset contains information about the loss and profit account of companies (practices) of healthcare providers. For each profession, the population consists of all self-employed healthcare entrepreneurs, the companies of which act as an approach to the respective business class as distinguished in the Standard Business Classification (SBI) 2008.
From 2015, the statistical results on self-employed and other companies of healthcare providers will be compiled according to a more generic and improved processing method. In the new statistics, processing per class of business has been harmonised, e.g. the divergent weighting for certain classes of business has been eliminated. The imputation and increase in the subpopulation of holdings has improved through the use of additional sources and the introduction of an increase by size class. The SBI dental specialists will be fully described in the course of 2015: the description in the old statistic with orthodontists only has been extended with oral surgeons. In addition, an additional business class has been added compared to the old statistics: SBI Practices of psychiatrists and day care centers mental health care.

### Methodology
The study is an analysis of the tax returns of all companies of healthcare entrepreneurs, supplemented by tax returns from other companies in the healthcare sector. The tax data is linked to the population and for missing data the data is increased.
### Population
The population consists of two parts:
1. Self-employed persons, in this case healthcare providers who are self-employed, with their businesses (one-man business, partnership, VOF, etc.);
2.Other companies (mainly BVs) which, according to the General Companies Register (ABR) of CBS, belong to the relevant class of the Standard Business Classification (SBI) and where at least one healthcare provider is employed in accordance with the relevant SBI class.
