Characteristics of children of persons registered in the Basic Registration of Personal Data (BRP) (from 01-10-1994)

Description

Contains information about the (legal) children of all persons who appear in the Basic Registration of Persons (BRP) as of 1 October 1994, regardless of whether the children still live with their parents or not. Emigration of a child or the death of a child also does not result in any change in this component. The identification number of the person’s children may be known, but there is no need to do so. In the GBAPERSOONTAB and KINDOUDERTAB, children without identification numbers are included with RINPEROONS= & #039;N#039; De 'N#039; stands for: person present in the BRP, anumber not known. This component is particularly suitable for a population to retrieve information about a person’s children on the reference date. For example, this is useful for fertility calculations. The following information from the children is recorded in the component: — GBADatumPrinciple of Parenting — GBADatumEnd of the Parenting Situation — DATE OF BIRTH ELDEST CHILD — DATE OF BIRTH YOUNGEST CHILD — NUMBER OF CHILDREN — Number of MINDERJARGE CHILDREN (= under 18 years). As soon as something in the information about a person’s children changes, a person has another child, O A child becomes of age, O The person dies (this is the last record of this person), then the person gets a new combination of the date of commencement of parenting situation (Date StartingParent Situation) with the changed data about the children. The old parenting situation ends with a GBADatumEindeParenting situation. In addition, multiples have been taken into account, i.e. if, for example, twins are born, only one record is added to the parenting situation. ### Population Includes all persons registered in the Basirs Registration Personal Data (BRP) from 1 October 1994.
