Description
The survey on the informal economy (undeclared work) among beneficiaries and the total population (15–64 years) was carried out in 2011 for the fifth consecutive year by the Central Bureau of Statistics (CBS), in cooperation with the Ministry of Social Affairs and Employment (SZW). The overall response was about 21 percent at the same level as in 2010.

### Population
The 2011 survey was conducted among the following groups of beneficiaries: the Act on Disability Insurance (WAO), the General Survivors Act (ANW), the Work and Income according to Labour Capacity Act (WIA), the Unemployment Act (WW) and the Work and Assistance Act (WWB). In addition, a sample was drawn among the total population (15-64) who serves as a reference group for statements on undeclared work among beneficiaries.
