Characteristics of participants in the Final Test Basic Education of Cito (01-09-2018-01-09-2022)

Description

The Cito file contains up to and including school year 2013/'14 characteristics of participants in the Cito Final Test Basic Education and from school year 2014/'15 characteristics of participants in the Central Final Test. This concerns data such as the type of test in which they participated and their home language (until 2013). The Central Final Test is one of the mandatory final tests where a school can choose from school year 2014/'15 and is made by Cito on behalf of the College voor Testen en Examens (CvTE). The CvTE is responsible for the content of this Central Final Test. Furthermore, the file contains different types of scores of participants on the different parts of the Cito Final Test or the Central Final Test. The study skills component has been integrated into the arithmetic and language components from school year 2014/'15. The year in the file name is the calendar year in which the Cito test was taken. The CITO2012TABV1 file contains data on the Citotest created in the school year 2011/ & #039;12. For school year 2017/'18 an adaptive version of the Central Final Test has been developed. Students don't all answer the same questions but get questions tailored to their own level. As a result, the usual z-scores have not been calculated and the variables in question have been left empty. Also a number of percentile scores are missing in the 2017/&18 file. In school year 2018/'19, the usual non-adaptive version of the Central Final Test was again reduced. Data on the Central Final Test (from school year 2014/'15) are not the property of Cito and can be made available for research by third parties in consultation with CBS. Data on the Central Final Test is data of all pupils who have taken the Central Final Test. ### Population Students who participated in the Cito Final or Central Final Test.
